Think potato chip packets, coffee sachets and other flexible plastic packaging, all cleaned, cut and transformed into something worth keeping.<br><br></div><div>The session runs for around two and a half to three hours and is fully private, so it's just you and up to three others working alongside Sabine at her studio in Nikao. You'll start by getting to know the materials and understanding a little about why they've been chosen, before moving through the steps of cleaning, cutting, plaiting and weaving.<br><br></div><div>Templates are provided, and no experience is needed at all. The focus is on building the skill, so by the time you leave you'll have a real understanding of the technique rather than a rushed, half-finished result. Because a full bag takes considerably longer than a workshop allows, you won't complete one on the day. Instead, you'll put what you've learned into practice by making a small souvenir to take home, and you'll receive a PDF guide, which we will send via email after the workshop.
