Built in 1888, this church once served as a place of worship for Tautu villagers, saving them from long journeys to Arutanga. The site also marks the original village of Tautu, which was later abandoned after an epidemic. Today, a memorial and interpretation panel stand on a well-kept grassy clearing, sharing the stories of the church and its congregation’s hardships.
