Description
Take a look at a piece of maritime history at the Maitai Shipwreck, a British cargo ship that ran aground on Christmas Day in 1916. Known for its distinctive “Boiler” rising above the water, the wreck can be admired from shore at Trader Jacks or explored up close by experienced snorkellers and divers. Located about 500m offshore, the site offers an exciting underwater adventure with marine life now thriving around the remains of the ship.
